Healthwatch Norfolk – Jan 2024 Feedback

In January 2024 we visited Acle Medical Partnership and Reedham Surgery to speak with patients about their experiences with local health and social care services. From these visits we received nine reviews for Acle Medical Partnership with an average star rating of 4.7 out of five. We also received five reviews for Reedham Surgery with an average rating of 4.8.

Healthwatch Norfolk officers who visited the surgeries noted:

Overall, people we spoke to about their experiences at the surgery were happy with the care they were receiving and told us that they felt the staff worked hard. There were some mixed feelings about communication from the surgery with some telling us how they felt well communicated with and others noting that they did not always receive follow up contact after a phone call and another sharing that they are not always told when their medication is ready to collect.

Some of the reviews are displayed below and all reviews can also be found on our website: www.healthwatchnorfolk.co.uk

“Fabulous surgery! Today is the first time I’ve ever had a late
appointment but the doctors are working their socks off. I have no
complaints whatsoever, although any surgery would be better with
more staff and more space!”

“Brilliant. Usually get an appointment online quickly. The phones are
always busy. The surgery couldn’t be better though.”

“They’re pretty good. The way they mix online is good, you can email
the doctor and get a reply the same day so it works well. If you’re
waiting for test results it can be a wait. The appointment was
running a bit late today too but they do a bloody good job and look
after us.”
