When We Are Closed
If you need urgent advice, the out-of-hours service is commissioned by Norfolk Primary Care Trust. If you have an emergency you can call our number 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
When the surgery is closed, you will hear a recorded message telling you that the surgery is closed and your call is being transferred to 01603 488488 for an Out of Hours Doctor.
Telephone conversations made to the out-of-hours service may be recorded for legal and training purposes.
NHS Direct
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call
NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
